Bend (and the surrounding area) is home to some of the most spectacular camps in the world. Like Oregon, who has spent countless nights in national parks and under the stars, the camps in Bende are hard to beat.

In and around the Great Benj, you can find lake camps, mountain camps, volcanic settlements, desert settlements in Bend, river settlements, forest settlements and much more. Below is a list of all my favorite places in Bend, Oregon that I can easily refer to.

Turning Camp Tips

Leave the trainee and practice
You + Sunscreen = Best Friends (Forever)
  • I swear This Sunscreen, I found it in France and now buy it wholesale. It works like a charm and leaves no residue or fragrance, without which you will never catch me!
Wear hiking boots with a good fit
  • Although (most) paths are well protected, exposed roots are common. It’s easy to walk on the road, so prepare yourself for success by wearing appropriate shoes. These are mine Hiking boots And I can sleep in them if I can.
A week in a turn
Stick to the main track
  • There are many social trails (social trails are created by traverses from the main road). These trails can easily damage sensitive areas, so stay with clearly marked trails to protect soft plants and wildlife.
Get some great walks!

Bend is a hike with many amazing trails. If you need some tips, I have put together a list of my top 12 favorite walks over here.

Make sure the trail is open before you leave
  • Trust me, I know this sounds like nonsense, but I will be the first to admit that I made this mistake. Nature is wild, things happen. Call Forest Service Make sure you get the right updates or online before you leave, it never hurts!
