Aer Lingus Restores Transatlantic Shannon Service

Aer Lingus has resumed daily flights between Shannon, Ireland, and each Boston and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport for its summer season, the carrier announced. The 14 weekly flights are the first transatlantic routes between Shannon and the United States since March 2020, according to the carrier.

With their restart, Aer Lingus this summer will operate 14 direct routes to the United States.

“This summer, we will be operating our largest transatlantic seat capacity from Shannon in 17 years,” Aer Lingus chief corporate affairs officer Donal Moriarty said in a statement.
