Two young boys and a girl were injured in a car crash in the Englewood neighborhood early Monday morning, police said, along with a 26-year-old woman who was driving them.
Police said the woman was trying to make a westbound turn in the 2100 block of West 59th Street with the boys, ages 10 and 4, and the girl, 8, in a black Jeep at about 6:20 a.m. when they hit a black Volkswagen SUV.
The Volkswagen driver, a 63-year-old man, refused medical attention at the scene, police said. The woman and three children were taken to University of Chicago Hospital and Comer Children’s Hospital, but police did not know their condition as of Monday afternoon.
