Two women and a man were stabbed at a Wrightwood restaurant Sunday morning.
A person entered the establishment in the 7800 block of South Western Avenue at approximately 8:30 a.m. and demanded free food. When the cashier refused, the person began hitting the victim with an ax-like object, according to police.
A 45-year-old woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition. Another 45-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man were taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition.
No one was in custody and Precinct 1 detectives are investigating.
