The Ministry of Health and Social Protection registered 61 new cases of the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), one death due to the consequences of infection with the virus and the recovery of 89 new cases of people infected with “Covid-19”.

And she noted that in line with the plan to expand and expand the scope of investigations in the country, with a view to early detection, counting and isolating cases infected with the Corona virus and those who are in contact with them, 230,869 new investigations were carried out in the last 24 hours, in different groups in the community with the best and latest medical examination techniques.

She added that the intensification of investigative procedures and the extension of investigations at state level contributed to the discovery of 61 new cases of the emerging coronavirus of different nationalities, all of which are stable cases and subject to necessary health care, bringing the total number of registered cases to 741 and six cases.

And the ministry announced the death of one case as a result of the consequences of infection with the emerging coronavirus, bringing the death toll in the country to 2,144 cases.

And it revealed the recovery of 89 new cases of people infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), and their complete recovery from the symptoms of the disease after receiving the necessary medical care since entering the hospital, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 735,638. case.

In addition, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced that 19,852 doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine had been provided in the last 24 hours, bringing the total doses given until yesterday to 21 million and 573,000 and 805 doses, and the vaccine distribution rate is 218 , 13 doses per 100 people.

She stressed that this is in line with the plan to provide the “Covid-19” vaccine, and to achieve the acquired immunity that results from vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the “Covid-19” virus . It called on community members to cooperate with health authorities, follow instructions and adhere to social distancing, to ensure the health and safety of all.
