PACIFICA – A traffic stop ended in the arrest of a 33-year-old San Francisco man and the recovery of not one, but two stolen vehicles Monday in Pacifica, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Del Mar and Nelson avenues around 10:25 a.m. for a report of a stolen gray Mazda CX-5, according to the Pacifica Police Department.
The driver was arrested without incident, police said.
Officers saw drug paraphernalia inside the Mazda and also found a Sondor electric motorcycle in the trunk, according to police. The registered owner of the motorcycle, a Milpitas resident, was unaware that it had been stolen from his home.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.
