Police say a shooting on a black country street turned violent.
Vicarage Road, near Old Road, was demolished on Saturday, May 29, just after 4 p.m.
West Midlands Police say a 29-year-old man has been arrested and a search is under way.
No one was injured, but West Midlands police were seen patrolling the side of the road.
Pictures taken Berwood and Smithwick Page also showed sections of the forces that prevented them from entering the road this morning.
Eyewitnesses described the exchange of fire, which was said to have provoked many people.
A West Midlands police spokesman said: “At 4:00 a.m., we arrested a man suspected of carrying a firearm after an altercation on Vicarage Street in Oldburg.
Property search is currently underway and the 29-year-old has been arrested for questioning.
