ADELE fans burst into tears after waiting until midnight to hear their comeback single Easy On Me.
The pop megastar’s first new track in five years is an emotional juggernaut that holds its own amongst its star catalogue.
In the official video for the track directed by Xavier Dolan, Adele embarks on an emotional journey as she reflects on lost love.
One fan wrote: “tears. Real tears. I miss Adele.”
“The new @Adele gives me goosebumps and tears,” said another.
She shared a third post: “I didn’t want to start crying but it was like.. the tears flowed by themselves. Thanks adele babes.”

Earlier this week, the 33-year-old actress leaked a long snippet of Easy On Me during Instagram Live.
“I’m so excited for my new term, it’s been a long time,” he teased.
The Tottenham-born star admitted he was worried about getting in trouble with his management for leaking the song online before its official release.
“There is no gold in this river that I wash my hands with forever,” he says.
“I know there’s hope in these waters but I can’t swim myself drowning in the silence, baby let me…”
Fans rushed to ask the singer about her new music.
He said, “What will my next album be based on? Divorce, baby, divorce.”
The album is Adele’s first new music since her divorce from Simon Konecki, whom she broke up with after seven years of dating in April 2019.
During her open and honest conversation, she also spoke about her mental health.
“I’m very sane right now. I take it every day and deal with whatever comes my way,” he said.
“It definitely helps me feel better if I take the time. Writing my music…yeah it was definitely therapeutic.
“I guess I lost my appreciation for that. I brought up things I didn’t want to say out loud and talk about.”
