Adonis: The next Labor leader does not need to be a deputy
Giving his post-mortem to Hartlepool, Lord Adonis has left to argue Sir Keir is not an election winner, which included him in the last 14 years of “weak or terrible ” post-Blair leaders. When asked if the party needs new leadership, Lord Adonis opined:
“I don’t think my Labor colleagues should be restricted to people who are currently members of the House of Commons when they look at the next leader. What they should look at is a person, a leader, who can articulate a vision. of a bold, credible, exciting and popular future for the future … ”
