Al Baron is not afraid to share the experience of entering a new chapter in life after a heart-breaking relationship. The burgeoning singer-songwriter and actress is at risk to the audience with her dream new single “T-shirt”. Finding an unmarried friend reveals growing pains that end a relationship and find the empowerment to move on from the love you cherished more than once Finding it has taken you on a journey that is very familiar to many young women Songs that bind you without any consideration for your feelings. He reveals the sensitive value that an article of clothing can hold when an important relationship ends and that’s all you have left – a T-shirt that once held a very low value is now a constant reminder of what you had.

Baron connects with his audience through his personal, honest and emotive songs. He can’t be afraid to admit that when you know you have to move on too, it can be the hardest step to take. She uses other platforms and her music to give other women the courage and inspiration they need to stay away from toxic relationships, a topic she addressed on her all-pop track “What’s Her Number”. With his first EP Sincerely AB Soon after arriving, I caught up with Ally to find out more about pop-rap t-shirts ”and to discover the advice she would share and let the other women go through the break-up.

Where did the inspiration for the “T-shirt” come from?

I was inspired to write this song after a long relationship. The song is a metaphor and a symbol to let go so that you can make room for the important things in your life. Personally, this song reminds me to move on from negativity no matter how difficult it is.

What does your creative process look like when writing a song?

The creative process behind the “T-shirt” was long. It started with a zoom session with my co-writer, Tony Ferrari, and producer Nick Pingri. We talked back and forth about the idea and the writing came naturally, but the melody was not with me. It took a few attempts to produce and perfect the melody, but I’m proud of how it turned out, with a few risks and being able to challenge my comfort zone.

What has helped you to take the necessary steps to move forward in this relationship?

Surviving the present moment and surrounding myself with a great support group is what got me through this kind of situation. My friends and family have always reminded me to stay positive and look for new and better opportunities.

What advice do you have for other young women in similar situations?

My advice would be to try and understand that you cannot rely on anyone else to make you happy. Surround yourself with a great support system that encourages you to be your best self and keep yourself busy with things that are beneficial for your mental health.

What is the best break up advice?

It’s the best job for you to stay busy and have a hard time helping someone stay there. The less time you have to think and stay in the memories, the faster you will overcome it. Find a new hobby or focus on your mental health and you will quickly find yourself in a healthy state.
