An awkward interaction with a virtual fan left Andy Cohen shocked on Thursday night’s (September 19) episode of See what’s happening liveafter the show.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow and actors Dan Bucatinsky was visiting the Bravo Clubhouse when the hilarious moment took place during a fan’s Q&A. Cohen introduced Debbie from California, who had a question for Bucatinsky, but quickly realized he knew her personally.
“Oh, Debbie! Oh, look at you! Debbie with the hair. Nice to see you!” Cohen exclaimed happily.
“This lady has such hard hair, but she’s also been following me around the country – but not stalking – in the best and sweetest way,” he explained. “It’s been so long! I haven’t seen you in so long.”
Debbie told Cohen she had been to Antarctica, to which he replied, “Oh, of course you were. This lady is wild.”
Before returning to the issue at hand, Cohen gushed, “Debbie, I love you. Thank you! Love you, Debbie.” However, Debbie seemed ready to shift her focus to Bucatinsky.
“Thanks. Hi Dan!” she said, leaving Cohen somewhat shocked at her lack of excitement for him and his kind words.
“Oh, she kind of wants to move on,” he immediately pointed out, before adding, “Debbie, are you over me at this point?”
Debbie brutally (but hilariously) replied, “I want to move on to Dan,” to which a practically speechless Cohen said, “Wow. This is what it feels like to lose a fan.”
Scottish comedian Ian Sterling, who was bartending at the clubhouse, told the crowd the interaction was the “biggest thing that’s happened” since he arrived in America three weeks ago, while an equally stunned Dubrow added: “What’s going on?”
See what’s happening live broadcast Sunday to Thursday at 10pm ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day at Peacock.
