After 57 years, the A’s will play theirs final game at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on Thursday, September 26 against the Texas Rangers.
On Monday in a letter, A’s owner John Fisher apologized to the fans for not being able to keep the team in the Bay Area. Next season the team is planned to begin a three-year residency in Sacramento at Sutter Health Park, home of the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats, while they wait for a new stadium to be built in Las Vegas.
The A’s final game in Oakland is sold out. First pitch is at 12:37 p.m. PDT — not exactly prime time, but here’s how you can watch.
How to watch the A’s final game in Oakland on local TV
NBC Sports California broadcasts the game; in the Bay Area, you can listen to a cable TV provider. You can also access the channel through www.nbcsportscalifornia.com/AthleticsStream or log into the NBC Sports app.
