Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom will make joint national security declarations

Secretary of Defense Peter Dutton is locked in high-level talks with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin at the Pentagon – with Australia, the United States and Britain to make a landmark for national security this morning.

Australia wants to join a new alliance with the United States and Britain in what will be a strong message to China about Australia’s presence in the South China Sea in Southeast Asia and the Indo-Pacific.

Joe Biden will speak at 07.00 AEST today to announce joint capacity between the United States and Australia on the submarine program and the sharing of nuclear power capacity – which calls into question the French submarine contract of 90 billion dollars.
