A boy was found unresponsive in a vehicle Tuesday night in Lexington and later pronounced dead at a hospital, officials said.
Lexington police said officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue parking lot around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, where they found the 1-year-old child.
The boy was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. The department said the investigation is ongoing and did not release other details about the child’s death.
Police referred questions about the incident to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, which did not immediately return a request for comment Wednesday.
