A teenager was arrested after two police officers were injured during a youth intoxication in Co Tiron.
An officer lost consciousness while investigating suspected violations of coronavirus.
Police have been called to licensed buildings in Fintona At around 6.35pm on Friday, about 150 people were present and reported violations of the Kovi-19 rules.
An employee who tried to arrest the suspect was punched and a male officer was beaten and lost consciousness.
The paralyzed officer was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
A 17-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of crimes, including assault and disorderly conduct.
Enforcement of Kovid-19 violations was imposed and a £ 1,000 fine was imposed.
Chief Inspector Johnston McDowell said: “It is unacceptable for two of our colleagues to be involved in such a heinous crime. Such contempt should never be tolerated. . . Our officers. . . They will continue to work with licensors to ensure that everyone fulfills their responsibilities.
Chief Inspector McDowell said the PSNI will continue to work with licensing agencies on possible violations. He added that counsel and direction would be given when appropriate.
