Biden’s Beach Snooze Roils GOP: Who’s Running the Country?

President Joe Biden was spotted catching some rays on a Delaware beach, and the moment rattled some opponents to the core, claiming the moment showed an “incredible dereliction of duty.”

The RNC Research X account tweeted, “Biden — who held just one public event this week — is currently on the beach in Delaware.” They added, “He has spent 40% of his entire presidency on vacation… Who is running the country?”

This is a joke! Biden has spent 40% of his presidency on vacation while the country falls apart. Inflation, crime, border crisis – who cares? He’s too busy relaxing on the beach.

The tweet led to other social media commentators piling on.

“Why is no one in Congress impeaching his laziness ass?!!!!!” said X-User @JoeVeteranUSMC. Conservative host Cash Loren added: “Who’s running the country? We still don’t have an answer.”

And then, of course, came the comments that President Biden is not actually alive.

Commenter Malissa Canton said: “This really doesn’t help the ‘weekend at Bernie’s’ joke.” Another commenter added: “Can someone check he’s breathing.”

“Honestly, that’s probably when most of it gets done. When they’re not going around him, tweeted commentator David Smith, who describes himself as an “engineer” who “tries to base everything on facts and figures and not guesswork”, adding: “Let’s get rid of politicians.”

Since suspending his re-election campaign, President Biden has been in the news for securing release of The Wall Street Journal journalist Evan Gershkovichspeaking out in support of set time limits for the Supreme Courtand his first full interview since dropping out of the presidential race will air in a sit-down interview since dropping out of the race will air on CBS News Sunday morning on 11 Aug.
