Roommates, we’re sending lots of love and prayers to “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” star Charmaine Bay when she revealed that her father has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophagus cancer.
Charmaine, who lost her mother back in December of 2019 pregnancy with your first child, said she is “living a nightmare” in a sad post she made on Wednesday.
She explained that she found out her father had been diagnosed a few weeks earlier.
“That’s when we found out that my husband and I went to Louisiana to pick him up and bring him back to Chicago so I could care for him and he could start treatment,” Charmaine explained of the life-changing news.
Charmaine then explained that things have gotten worse since then.
“Although I know it is the best hospital in the country for cancer, things have gotten worse! After chemo my dad had multiple seizures and now his memory is very bad,” she wrote.
Charmaine continues the heartbreaking updates. “He doesn’t know who I am and when I grow up my mom asks me what I’m talking about. It’s most frustrating not knowing why my dad has seizures or memory loss.” It’s happening!!!”
Charmaine says doctors are doing everything possible to find out what’s going on but they still haven’t had any results.
“He has ruled out a stroke and is confused when it comes to my (dad) memory loss. Has this ever happened to someone you love and what was the reason for the seizure after chemo? ,” Charmaine asked her fans. “The doctors don’t think she’s allergic to chemo and don’t know why she’s so confused/memory loss. There are no signs of cancer in his brain so far, but more tests are still waiting to be done. Has anyone encountered anything like this before??
We pray for Charmaine’s father’s healing and we’ll keep you posted on any updates.
