Jason Tatum absolutely loaded the Boston Celtics on Friday night, and his coach recognized the feat.
Tatum scored 50 points in leading the Celtics to a 125–119 win over the Brooklyn Nets in the third match of their first-round series.
Tatum was 16-30 and 13-15 at the 50-point free-throw line. He completed with 23 points, Marcus Smart, with five threes, and Tristan Thompson, 19 points, 13 rebounds.
Celtics coach Brad Stevens was so impressed with Tatum that he described it as “special”.
