A fight in a Denver Broncos preseason game left a fan dazed, but he still held his beer with minimal spillage.
The fight took place sometime during Broncos preseason win 38-12 Arizona Cardinals on the concourse of Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday.
The video of the melee began with one fan wearing a dark blue T-shirt with a Broncos logo on it and jawing with another fan in a white tank top as the two appeared to walk towards an exit.
The fan in the blue shirt, who was also holding a beer, seemed to try to fake out the other fan by making a move to scare him, but instead the man in the white shirt ended up swinging and hitting the person with the beer right in the jaw.
The punch knocked the man in the blue shirt back, but then a third person jumped into the fray and swung at him, knocking him to the ground.
The attackers continued to go after the man on the ground, who appeared to be dizzy before security arrived.
The man in the blue Broncos jersey stood up again, though he was missing a shoe, and he still seemed to have a firm grip on his tallboy without spilling much of his beer from the can.
Users on X seemed to notice that the beer guy failed to spill his beer throughout the battle.
“BUT NO MATTER HOW BAD HE GOT PUMPED, HE DID NOT DROP HIS BEER,” one person wrote.
“Now that’s a skilled beer drinker! Waste not want not,” another signed X.
The two men who threw the punches appeared to flee the scene after stadium security arrived.
It is unclear if anyone was charged or kicked out of the arena in connection with the incident.
