A Cambridge woman is facing multiple charges after authorities say she stabbed a man in a Boston restaurant Sunday night.
Alicia Morasse, 29, of Cambridge was arraigned Monday in court in Boston, charged with assault with intent to murder; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; disorderly conduct; vandalize property; and threats to commit crimes, according to Boston Police.
Police said officers responded to the area of 1 Harrison Ave. around 10:24 p.m. on Sunday for assistance in removing a cartridge from the restaurant. Police were told the suspect, later identified as Morasse, was causing a disturbance in the business and was asked to leave. An argument ensued where she allegedly stabbed a man before fleeing the area, the department said.

Police used surveillance footage and a photo of Morasse to locate her in the area of Stuart Street and Church Street, where she was arrested, the department said. Police said a knife was taken from her backpack, according to the department.
During her arraignment Monday, prosecutors said Morasse entered the restaurant and ordered food before arguing with the eatery’s employees. WHDH Boston reports. When staff tried to remove her, prosecutors said the altercation turned physical and Morasse was allegedly seen holding a knife and making stabbing motions at an employee’s head, according to the station.
Morasse has pleaded not guilty to the charges against her, according to court documents. She was ordered held without bond pending a dangerousness hearing. Contact information for her attorney was not immediately available.
