news, latest news,

Canberra’s arts and events calendar is filling up nonstop for 2022, and the Canberra International Music Festival announces its 10-day schedule of events in April and May. The theme will be Pole to Pole – a musical adventure that takes listeners around the world and reminds us of the diversity of the planet, even if we all have a common experience. Art director Roland Peelman said the festival aims to celebrate diversity. “From the tropics to the poles, from the mountains to the deserts, people have always looked for ways to get through difficult spots and seek new ways to find new ways while enjoying the comfort of our coastal roads.” “Next year’s festival is about these routes. It’s about these trails, these trails, and the wonders of nature, what we discover along the way.” READ MORE: The 10-day program of 41 events will feature antiquities from Spain, new music from Australia, the Middle East and the “best” of European traditions. “We’re presenting Polish music like never before and will shine a light on our neighbors, the land of tall white clouds,” Peelman said. Said. “Then there’s Blue Poles, the Jackson Pollock painting in the National Gallery of Australia, which will see a concert of newly commissioned works at the gallery.” There will also be a few free events such as the Ears Up Dog Concert – a concert for our four-legged friends and their masters – pitch material tuned specifically for hypersensitive ears, Soundwalks – acoustic ecology through quiet group walks, and the Daily Drill. A series of free lunch concerts at the ANU Drill Hall Gallery. The Canberra International Music Festival will take place from April 29 to May 8 and tickets will be on sale from November 29.
