The rapper just welcomed her second child offset earlier this week, so now she’s onesking the judge to adjourn the trial over her Gangsta B *** h Cover art, which she was accused of almost 4 years ago.
The album cover for Cardi B’s debut mixtape, Gangsta B *** h Music Vol. 1, shows the Bronx native sitting back and relaxing with a beer – all while a man with a huge back tattoo puts his head between her legs.
A man named Kevin Brophy is about to steal the picture, claiming that he’s 100 percent he’s on the album cover, but he has never posed for the photo or given Cardi permission to use his resemblance. He further claimed that Ordeal ruined his life and wanted at least $ 5 million in damages.
After all these years, the trial was finally planned for next month, but Cardi hopes to stop it. The “WAP” rapper has received new legal documents from TMZ, who are asking the judge for a delay because she gave birth to her son just on September 4th.
According to the documents, the mother of two does not think she would be required to travel the entire month from the East Coast to Southern California, and says she must be with her newborn for obvious reasons. She goes on brings the risks of COVID-19 from not only traveling, but spending long hours in public places such as airports, hotels, and the court. For these reasons, she asks the court to suspend the trial for at least 75 days.
For the moment, the judge has not yet made a decision.
