Bob Enyart, a right-wing radio host in Colorado who urged people to boycott covid-19 vaccine, has died of covid-19.
Enyart’s death was reported two weeks after Denver Bible Church said he and his wife had been taken to hospital.
“Pastor Bob and Cheryl are in … good hands and improving daily,” the church said at the time. “We anticipate and ask for a complete recovery. We both mourn and rejoice together during this challenging time. ”
IN a Facebook post On Monday, Enyart’s co-host Fred Williams said: “It comes with an extremely heavy heart that my close friend and co-host of Real Science Radio has lost his battle with Covid.
“Bob Enyart was one of the smartest and without a doubt the wisest person I have ever known. While I am extremely kind and humble, and always, always willing to listen and discuss what you want.
“Heaven’s gain has left a huge hole here on earth.”
However, the Denver Post reported that Enyart was a practiced and brutal provocateur who once used a program on cable television to mock the names of people who died of AIDS.
According to a 1999 profile by Westword, Enyart “happily reads death notices from AIDS sufferers while waving Another One Bites the Dust by Queen”.
Enyart also called on women who had abortions to be sentenced to death.
In the case of Covid-19 vaccines, Enyart sa people should boycott the shots “because … they tested these three products on the cells of aborted children”.
In October last year successfully sued state of Colorado over Covid-related church meeting restrictions.
Enyart is not the first right-wing radio host to oppose vaccines and other measures against public health against covid-19 including worm mandate before dies of covid-19.
Four other such hosts has died.
More than 660,000 people have died from the virus in the United States. In the midst of a spate of cases stemming from the infectious Delta virus variant, the vast majority of hospital stays and deaths are among the unvaccinated.
