Mugshots of the suspected Georgia school shooting suspect Colt Gray and his father has been released after the 14-year-old allegedly opened fire at Apalachee High School on Wednesday.

Colt allegedly killed two teachers and two fellow students while attending high school in Winder, Georgia. Nine others were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

He was arrested Wednesday after turning himself in to school resource officers and has now been charged with four counts of adult homicide.

His father, Colin Gray, was later arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree murder, four counts of manslaughter and eight counts of cruelty to children, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.

Both Colt and Colin Gray were already on the radar of law enforcement after the two were interviewed more than a year ago regarding threats the student made on an online gaming site, Discord.

In May 2023, the FBI was tipped off to a user making school shooting threats and was able to trace them back to Colt Gray, who was 13 at the time.

The student and his father were interviewed by police, but the sheriff’s report concluded that the threats could not be definitively attributed to Colt Gray.

This is a breaking story. More to follow.
