A Connecticut man is wanted for questioning in shooting dead a 27-year-old Bridgeport mother found himself dead on Tuesday.
An unresponsive female victim was discovered lying in a street by police who were alerted to shots fired on Central Avenue in Bridgeport around 8 p.m. Monday, according to News 12 Connecticut.
But when Stratford Police Department investigators tried to question Ricardo C. Robinson Tuesday morning in connection with the shooting, they reportedly found him dead for.
Stratford police said the 28-year-old died of suicideaccording to Hartford Fox affiliate WTIC.
Police in both Connecticut towns are now asking the public to come forward with information.
There are no other suspects in the shooting death of the unidentified woman. Police believe she knew her killer and referred to the incident as a “violent domestic assault.”
