Former danger! Contestants called for an apology from the show after a player flashed the ‘White Power’ symbol during the campaign.
“One recent contestant shouted ‘Danger!’ For viewers for two separate events, and we as ex-contestants feel the need to speak out against the message that these choices are made by messenger Kelly Donahu and intentionally or unintentionally –O wrote in a letter published to Medium.
Donhu flashed an “OK” symbol across his chest – a widely used symbol among right-wing extremist and white hegemonic groups.
Then there are several other reasons in this letter for those who believe that he was associated with a white hegemonic group.
“We know that competitors sign agreements on ethics and ethics while preparing to appear on the show and we will ask the production team to evaluate this situation within that framework,” the letter concludes. “Finally, we hope to see changes so that errors of this magnitude will never broadcast it in the future.”
Danger! Still no response.
