A Delta lounge is also coming to Logan Airport.
Delta Air Lines is helping Boston travelers discover Milan and Barcelona next year with new direct flights starting in summer 2025.
The routes are part of Deltas largest transatlantic summer schedule to dateannounced on Friday. Next summer, Delta will offer more than 700 flights per week to 33 European destinations and beyond.
Delta’s new route between Boston and Milan “fills a critical gap as Boston’s largest unserved European market,” according to a press release. The Milan route will be offered four times a week, and the Barcelona line will be offered three times a week.
“Delta has been an excellent partner to Logan for many years and we are excited about their new routes to Milan and Barcelona as part of their transatlantic expansion in the summer of 2025,” Ed Freni, director of aviation for Massport, said in a statement. “These new services will provide our passengers with more travel options and further strengthen our ties between New England and the many regions of Europe.”
The airline also announced new direct service between Boston and Bozeman, Montana, which will begin in December ahead of the ski season.
Additionally, Delta says it will open a Delta One lounge at Logan International Airport until next summer. The lounge will offer “an exclusive and luxurious environment” for Delta One and other eligible customers, according to the carrier. Lounges will also open at Los Angeles International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The first Delta One lounge opened at John F. Kennedy International Airport in June.
