Chilling surveillance footage shows the moment a gunman shot a woman in the back as she desperately tried to escape into a Bronx deli on Thursday.
The video recorded by O and V Deli shows the victim on a chair sitting next to a sidewalk grill on Franklin Ave. near E. 170th St. Morrisania when the sound of gunfire startles her around 3:58 p.m
The victim flees with several other men toward E. 170th St. when the bullet hits her just steps away from the deli’s front door and the impact sends her onto the sidewalk, the video shows.
Paramedics rushed to the victim St. Barnabas Hospital with a gunshot wound to the back in stable condition, police officers said.
No arrests have been made.
