French DJ and record producer David Guetta, 56, has successfully offloaded his Florida apartment, The Post can exclusively report.
Guetta — who has sold more than 10 million albums globally — was paid $16 million for the Miami Beach unit in an off-market deal that closed Friday.
The home measures 2,521 square feet, meaning the buyer paid roughly $6,300 per square foot — a new record for Miami Beach and the second-highest price paid per square foot in Miami-Dade County, according to press materials.
The Grammy-winning producer — who have worked with artists such as Kelly Rowland, Shaboozey, is and OneRepublic, among others — purchased the 37th-floor property back in 2018, paying billionaire businessman Richard LeFrak $9.5 million for the home, located at the Setai Hotel and Residences.
The DJ’s home of six years has three bedrooms – two of which are primary suites – and three bathrooms, as well as motorized sun shades and a wraparound balcony.
Throughout there are Sonos speakers and extensive views of both the city and the sea.
The building is 40 stories high with 22 floors of apartments and several floors of two-story residences, as well as three floors of penthouses. The homes range from under 800 to over 3,000 square meters. Within the Setai, there are a host of amenities, including three pools, a landscaped resort area on the beach, gardens, a fitness center, a restaurant, and 24-hour valet parking and security.
Other currently on the market units in the building — located just steps from the beach — are asking anywhere from $14.9 million to $2.1 million and rents from $16,000 to $84,000 a month.
The deal was brokered by Eloy Carmenate, Mick Duchon and Joshua Winarick of Corcoran who brought the undisclosed buyer. The Corcoran’s Michael Wisenfeld represented Guetta.
