Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa left Thursday night’s Week 2 matchup against the Buffalo Bills after taking a hard hit to the head on a fourth-down play in the third quarter.
Minutes after the hard hit, Tagovailoa was ruled out of the game with a concussion.
Tua engaged in this run to pick up the first down and got carried away not knowing how to protect himself

Tagovailoa’s head collided with Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin after the quarterback put his head down trying to get a first down at the 4:24 mark of the third quarter. Immediately after the hit, the 26-year-old quarterback’s right hand balled into a fist while his right arm went straight up in the air.
Tagovailoa stayed on the ground as worried players took a knee and trainers quickly attended to him.
Tagovailoa, who is in his fifth NFL season, have a history of concussionincluding one in 2022 that landed him on injured reserve for the rest of the season.
