Dolphins star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was down on the field for several minutes after suffering a concussion following a hard hit to the head while trying to run the ball in the third quarter on Thursday night.
Tagovailoa was trying to rush up the middle on fourth-and-4 when he ran right into the chest of Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin and went to the ground.
The Dolphins signal caller tried to sit up but appeared dazed and went back to the ground as teammates immediately waved for the medical staff.
Tagovailoa eventually walked off the field and went to the Dolphins locker room.
He was ruled out with a concussion.
Prime Video reported that the decision was made just six minutes after he left the game.
Miami was down 31-10 in the third quarter at the time of the injury.
