The odds of Donald Trump winning the November presidential election have shortened in the aftermath of Tuesday’s debate between JD Vance and Tim Waltzaccording to a number of leading bookmakers.

On Tuesday, before the debate, PaddyPower and Betfair both offered odds of 1/1 (50 per cent) on Trump winning, but as of 2:00 a.m. ET Wednesday, both of those had dropped to 9/10 (52.6 percent).

Before the debate, Spreadex offered odds of 19/20 (51.3 percent) on a Trump victory, but this improved to 10/11 (52.4 percent) only on Wednesday.
