A police officer was assaulted after two teenagers were seen working suspiciously at Fordingbridge.
During patrolling, officers found two teenage boys at Fordingbridge Sports Club on Ringwood Road at around 5.40 pm on Friday (28 May).
The Hampshire Constabulary says officers detained the couple and discovered a quantity of class B drugs and that “during the arrest phase, an officer was assaulted resulting in minor injuries”.
A 17-year-old boy from Fordingbridge was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and possessing a Class B drug.
He was issued a Community Resolution Order for a drug offense, but was released under investigation for the offense of assault.
Whereas another 17-year-old boy from Fordingbridge was convicted of causing harassment/harm or distress to a police officer by obstructing the discharge of his duty, possessing a Class B drug, using threatening or derogatory words and a letter or communication. Was arrested on suspicion of sending. Sending a threatening message.
He was released after investigation.
