Fox proposes that Kamala Harris be replaced as vice president

Fox news host Jesse Watters suggested that Biden might consider removing Kamala Harris as vice president after he said his network had heard “whispers” about confirmation hearings in Congress.

‘Spring Capitol Hill correspondent Chad Pergram says he has heard whispers suggesting that there may be some new high-profile confirmation hearings on the horizon in the House of Representatives, Watters said during the segment.

‘Why is this a big deal? Because the house does not confirm normal nominees. But that confirms the vice presidential candidates. Does this have anything to do with Kamala Harris? It has been no secret that she has gone out of her way with the Biden team, he added.

The host touched on reports over the weekend that Biden-Harris’ happiness after the election had worn off when aides were frustrated by her uncomfortable laughter, “dysfunction and lack of focus” and low approval rating of just 28 percent.

On Monday, Biden and Harris lined up united as they stepped out of the White House to sign the president’s trillion-dollar infrastructure bill, after a CNN article on Sunday claimed their relationship had deteriorated.

Pergram claimed that he had been tipped off by an email from a “source”, but did not elaborate further.

“Our Capitol Hill correspondent Chad Pergram says he has heard whispers suggesting that there may be some new high-profile confirmation hearings on the horizon in the House of Representatives,” Jesse Watters said during the segment.

“So I recently received a message from someone who knows Capitol Hill very well and they suggested that I familiarize myself with the process of confirming a vacancy for the Vice President in the Senate and in the House,” Fox Capitol Hill correspondent Chad Pergram claimed

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris arrived together on the southern lawn of the White House on Monday afternoon amid reports that their relationship was about to break down.

“There are many guesses right now about the future of Vice President Harris and her lagging voting figures,” Pergram said after Watters welcomed him to the segment.

“So I recently received a message from someone who knows Capitol Hill very well and they suggested that I familiarize myself with the process of confirming a vacancy for the Vice President in the Senate and in the House,” Pergram added.

He also mentioned that Vice President Nelson Rockefeller, who served under President Ford, was the last Vice President to be confirmed by Congress.

According to the constitution, a sitting vice president can only be removed from office if they die, resign or are prosecuted and convicted – in which case Congress would confirm a successor.

The reported growing enmity between the president and Harris may not be enough to oust Harris from office, but if tensions persist, Biden could step down from Harris if he runs for re-election in 2024.

Pergram also appeared on Fox Radio’s “All-Panel Podcast” to talk about the “whisper” on Capitol Hill that there could be new high-profile confirmation hearings.

Also on Tuesday, the hosts of Fox’s “The Five” discussed rumors that Kamala would be replaced.

Host Dana Perino mentioned an unusual process for confirming a new vice president in the middle of a term, although it has been used more often when a president dies and the vice president goes up to the presidency – leaving office vacant – or when the vice president himself dies.

'And here's what I know is true, Mr President, you are equal parts believers and builders. 'And because you are, we are all better off. On behalf of our nation, thank you, Mr. President, Harris said

“This is one of those things where the White House is expected not to believe what you see,” Perino said.

“You can see that there is a problem here. We know that. They called for a government meeting for the first time in three months last Friday on the day when Kamala Harris was not even in the country,” she added.

Host Greg Gutfeld also jumped into the discussion, saying that Biden and Harris seemed like “a couple who have split up and are trying to behave in front of the children.”

“They will still share the house. ” We will not tell the children yet, and we will continue to smile, and we will go to the PTA meetings, ‘he said.

Watters then touched on the uncertain future of the Democratic Party.

“Joe will be 82 when he runs for re-election, his disapproval will probably be at 82. He was meant to be the bridge to the new generation, he is a bridge to nowhere. Kamala is DOA, leaving Mayor Pete. He is 5’6 ”, blacks do not like him, said the host.

According to CNN, Harris’ aide complains that she has been set to fail and handed over a portfolio that is disproportionate to her historical status as the first woman and first colored woman to hold the office of vice president.

However, they say the president has been more energetic in defending Transport Minister Pete Buttigieg.

“They consistently send her out to lose problems in the wrong situations for her skills,” said a former high-level assistant from Harris.

Her aides also complain that she does not have the support of the White House in the issues she has gained control over – such as the border crisis – to follow up.

At the same time, Biden’s staff are privately disappointed with Harris over self-inflicted controversies, such as her “unpleasant” laughter when asked to visit the border by NBC’s Lester Holt.

On Monday, however, Harris praised Biden and thanked him for the work he did to secure a trillion-dollar infrastructure bill. They went out on South Lawn together in a show of unity before hugging in front of about 800 guests.

Harris then went to the podium to begin her speech when the announcer appeared to skip her and said, “Welcome, Heather Kurtenbach.”

“In a moment,” Kamala replied with a laugh. A few hours earlier, a number of insiders reported CNN Biden distanced herself from Harris because of her sliding vote figures while VP felt isolated.

Officials tried to snatch the allegations during the day, and Harris offered his boss thanks from a grateful nation.

From the beginning, you welcomed Democrats, Independents and Republicans to meet us in the Oval Office. You received ideas. You welcomed the debate, all in the service of getting this bill done, Harris said before Biden signed the bill.

‘And here’s what I know is true, Mr President, you are equal parts believers and builders.

‘And because you are, we are all better off. On behalf of our nation, thank you, Mr President.
