Fremantle Dockers captain Nat Fyfe has added fuel to rumors that he is dating Australian cricket star Ellyse Perry after watching the Sydney Sixers take an overnight win at the WBBL opening in Tasmania.
The Brownlow Medal was spotted in the stands of the rain-affected match, with Perry’s Sixers beating the Melbourne Stars in a four-door win at Blundstone Arena in Hobart.
Fyfe, 30, is recovering from shoulder surgery that has seen him stay in Melbourne and not sit in the final rounds of the AFL season.
Perry also lives in 30 cities and plays Sheffield Shield cricket for Victoria.
The Lake Grace product recently returned to WA, where she took on various media commitments for the Perth grand finale and joined Brownlow where she presented a solo medal to Ollie Wines.
But it looks like Fyfe is spending time on Apple Island, where Fremantle’s preseason WBBL debut is based.
The duo held a Tasmanian reunion for the second time, after international cricketer Fyfe was spotted in the Dockers locker rooms after his 200th game against Hawthorn in July.
The midfielder’s appearance, smiling alongside family and friends, for the pivotal career milestone sparked rumors of a romance, causing many to label the duo as Australia’s hottest sporting power couple.
Perry recently became the nation’s first cricketer – male or female, to claim 5000 points and 300 wickets in international cricket.
