Global deaths in Covid hit 5 million when the Delta variant sweeps the world

It took almost over a year for the death in COVID-19 to reach 2.5 million.

Worldwide deaths related to COVID-19 exceeded 5 million on Friday, according to a Reuters speech, as the Delta variant causes a death toll, mainly among the unvaccinated.

Globally, an average of 8,000 deaths were reported daily over the past week, equivalent to five deaths per minute.
