Harare: Hasan Ali got his fourth Fiverr Test and helped Pakistan beat Zimbabwe with rounds and 116 rounds in the inaugural Test here at Harare FC.
Pakistan gained a solid lead with 250 hits and left Zimbabwe hit hard. The home team continued to lose wickets after regular intervals.
Zimbabwe escaped before lunch after Imran had shot down a catch at the slips of Shaheen Shah Afridi. Imran was baffled when the ball came to him on the second slip and Pakistan squandered an opportunity to take out Kevin Kasuza in the seventh over.
Zimbabwe opened and then scored 36/0 before going out for lunch. Kasuzu has not been out for 21 years while Tarisai Musakanda has been out for 14 years.
After his return from lunch, Zimbabwe began losing a wicket with Hassan taking charge. The proceedings began when Hassan Kevin Kasuza scored at 48. Tarisai Musakanda scored 48 before he ran out.
Brendan Taylor tried hard to save his team but only managed to score 29 passes. Regis Chakapva presented 14.
Earlier, Fuad Alam came out from 140 unbeaten which led Pakistan to gain 250 points in the lead against the hosts.
After resuming the third day at 6374 hours, Pakistan lost Hassan Ali and Naaman Ali in quick succession to suffer at 8-395 hours. Hassan scored 30 times out of 26 balls with the help of three and sixty boundaries.
Sajid Khan came out after scoring 7 runs while Fawad ended his long career with 140 out of 204 balls with 20 limits. Pakistan added 48 shots on the third day to finish their turn on 10-426.
Blessing Muzarabani earned four wickets while Donald Teripano earned three wickets for Zimbabwe. Richard Nagarava took two blades while Tendai Chisuru managed to take a wicket.
