The two-time NBA All-Star played with the Celtics from 2015 to 2017.
Isaiah Thomas returned to Celtics‘ hometown Monday and stopped by Boston College to play basketball with students and meet fans.
The former Celtics guard first posted on X on Sunday, asking local colleges if their gyms were open for him to “get together.” Over 200 fans in the area responded with accessible schools and leisure facilities around the city.
Thomas ended up at Boston College’s Margot Connell Recreation Center, where the two-time NBA All-Star played against members of the men’s basketball team, met and talked with fans and took pictures.
Thomas also held a meet-and-greet Monday night at the Kowloon Restaurant, during which he shared stories from his time with the Celtics and answered questions from fan memories.
