John Travolta and his daughter Ella Bleu Travolta enjoyed a memorable weekend in Paris together while attending several events during the 2024 Olympic Games.
The duo made their rare public appearance on Sunday, August 4 at Roland Garros for the men’s singles gold medal match between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. John, 70, wore a dark blue coat complete with a white pocket square and sunglasses, while Ella, 24, wore a white shirt.
The day before, John and Ella were at the gymnastics floor exercise finals at Bercy Arena and were seen cheering on Simone Biles and Jade Carey as they secured gold and bronze medals for Team USA.
The Travoltas seem to have spent a lot of quality time with each other over the summer. In July, John shared a glimpse of his Fourth of July celebration together with their children, which included a visit to a New York Yankees game complete with a spectacular fireworks display. “Happy 4th of July everyone!!” he captioned the video and showed shared moments of joy with Ella and Benjamin on their holiday weekend.
The Pulp Fiction star shares Ella and 13-year-old son Benjamin with his late wife Kelly Preston, who died in 2020 aged 57. Preston battled breast cancer privately for over two years, as revealed in a statement by John after she passed away. “It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a brave battle with the love and support of so many,” he said in the emotional Instagram post.
The couple also had a son, Jett, who tragically passed away in 2009 after suffering a seizure in their hotel bathroom where he fell and hit his head in the bathtub. He was 16 years old.
