The Trump-Vance campaign said Wednesday it raised $130 million in August, down from the nearly $139 million it pulled in in July and significantly less than Kamala Harris‘ $540 million in donations last month.
About 98 percent of donations for the month were under $200 each, according to the campaign. The average donation was $56.
“With Republicans united and a growing number of independents and disaffected democrats Crossing partisan lines, the Trump-Vance campaign has momentum for the final leg of the race,” said Brian Hughes, senior advisor to the Trump campaign. “These August fundraising numbers are a reflection of that momentum and will push back President Trump’s America First movement . to the White House so we can undo the terrible failures of Harris and Biden.”
