Kanye West is looking to open a free school, Donda Academy, in California
Kanye Westmay have found a place for his new school, Donda Academy.
The Grammy-Winning rapper is said to be looking at a 3.7-acre land between California Moorpark and Simi Valley.
According to reports, Donda Academy, Inc. submit a permit application to the Building and Safety Division in Ventura County. The papers call for a change of occupation at the Simi Valley Stoneridge Preparatory School, which closed about a decade ago, on 1625 Tierra Rejada Road.
The 5,728-square-foot property includes classrooms, offices, labs, a kitchen, storage, and bathrooms. It also has a basketball court and a field.

Sixty students go to the money-free private school that Kanye West reported hopes will welcome his mother and educator, Donda Westen, who died in 2007.
The mission of the school is outlined on its website:
“Finding the intersection between faith and the innovation of the future, Donda Academy focuses on expanding students with an education that lasts in the ever-changing world.”
