The Los Angeles Lakers return to action on Friday to take on the Sacramento Kings. LA will try to log back-to-back wins after Wednesday’s eventful win over the Indiana Pacers.
The Lakers have released their official injury report for Friday’s tilt, and it’s a bit mixed for Purple and Gold (h / h) Harrison Faigen from SB Nation):
LeBron James has not yet fully recovered from the stomach problem that put him on the sidelines for several weeks. The King returned to action Wednesday as he led the Lakers to a much-needed victory in Indiana. LeBron looked fine against the Pacers, but it looks like he’s now in danger of missing another game.
The good news, though, is that Anthony Davis is not on the injury report. AD missed Wednesday’s game due to illness, but it sounds like the Lakers’ big man has now been able to shake the same off.
The Lakers are free on Saturday, but they return to action on Sunday to fight the Detroit Pistons. Much has been done about the ugly fight between LeBron and Isaiah Stewart earlier this week, and they’ll get a chance to meet again in a few days. That should be interesting.
