Little Mix may split as remaining members ‘ready to launch solo careers’

It is thought that the trio will continue their individual projects when their tour ends next spring.

And reportedly this desire to go it alone Jade Thirlwall, 28, Perrie Edwards, 28 and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 30, could spell the end of the hugely successful girl group.

The news comes after the original group was reduced to three following Jesy Nelson’s decision to leave last December.

The 30-year-old actor’s debut caused a stir as his old friends no longer follow each other on social media.

It even caused famous fans of the group to unfollow Jesy. Instagram, with The likes of Anne-Marie say they support the remaining trio in the middle of the fallout.

But now it looks like the other girls in the group have followed in Jesy’s footsteps and left the group behind – at least for now.

A source told Sun They said the girls were open about their future away from the group and had many meetings about what could happen.

“Some have already made management deals,” the source said. “Leigh-Anne has signed with Dua Lipa’s manager, Jade is cutting her teeth as songwriter and host, and Perrie is working on other things.

“Despite everything with Jesy, they’re still great. But her departure put the cat among the pigeons. They all know there’s got to be a career beyond Little Mix, so they made things right.

“The plan is to see commitments, then move on to solo projects almost immediately.”

The source went on to say that while the band members plan to continue as a group, they know they can fight for time, which could end in a similar fashion to One Direction’s split.

New mom Leigh-Anne is allegedly seeking more acting roles after her debut in Boxing Day, which will hit theaters in December, and that Perrie, who has a newborn son, will set up her own company.

The band’s tour will begin to coincide with the release of their seventh album, Between Us.

The UK-based tour concludes with an all-sold show at London’s O2 Arena in May next year.
