Love Island host Laura Whitmore sounds the alarm for the return of the dating program to the first teaser

Laura Whitmore sounds the alarm for the return of Island of love in the first teaser of the new series of the ITV2 dating program.

The host moves a pink mallet to crush the heart-shaped glass into an alarm, which says, “In the case of the island of love, take it.”

Dressed in a red jumpsuit and sunglasses, Laura, who recently gave birth to her first child with her husband Iain Stirling, the show’s narrator, smiles at the camera before taking a swing.

The 10-second promotion ends with the words, “This is not a sham!”

The dating program returns to the screen for the first time since February 2020 after the cancellation of the summer series last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The first winter series was won by Paige Turley and Finley Tapp.

Another teaser for the new series shows a camera approaching the license plate of a 4 × 4 that normally brings newcomers to town.

The plate is called LOV3.

The new series has been filmed following government guidelines on Covid-19.

The teaser will be shown during the first episode of The Masked Dancer, which begins at 7pm on Saturday on ITV and ITV Hub.

Love Island returns this summer to ITV2 and ITV Hub.
