One man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting in the Austin neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to Chicago Police.
A man, 53, and woman, 41, were outside the 4700 block of West Polk Street about 4:40 a.m. when they were shot, the man in the abdomen and the woman in her right ankle, police said. Another man, 33, was also shot in his right foot, according to police.
The elderly man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead, police said. The woman was also taken to Mount Sinai in good condition. The 33-year-old man took himself to Rush Hospital and is listed in good condition, police said.
There is no suspect in custody and it is being investigated by detectives.
