Even as we’re in the dog days of summer, it’s starting to look a lot like Christmas Mariah Carey.
The Grammy award-winning the superstar announced on Friday that she annual Christmas Time Tour returns this year — and celebrate a special anniversary.
The 20-city trek will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Carey’s 1994 album “Merry Christmas,” which gave the world the ubiquitous holiday hit “All I want for Christmas is you.”
Kickoff November 6 in Highland, California the tour will travel across the country before reaching the New York City area, where stops include Newark’s Prudential Center (December 13), Belmont Park’s UBS Arena (December 15) and its final show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center (December 17).
“It’s not time yet, but I have exciting news!!” the unofficial “Queen of Christmas” teased in the caption of an Instagram photo, where she promised her “biggest holiday tour yet.”
In addition to the superstar’s classic holiday tunes, promoter Live Nation said Carey’s “biggest show yet” will feature other chart-toppers.
Tickets go on sale August 6 with general sales beginning August 9 at 10.00
