Sure, anyone can hum Hawkeye on Disney +, but there is another Jeremy Renner series that should also be on your radar. Paramount has released a fresh trailer for Mayor of Kingstown, a new drama series by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) and Hugh Dillon (Durham County).
The ten-episode series debuts on Paramount + and will revolve around the McLusky family-focused powerhouse in Kingstown, Michigan, where the prison business is the only thriving industry. With themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series takes a strong look at its attempt to bring order and justice to a city that has none. “I’m thrilled to dig into the complex and rough-and-tumble character of Mike McLusky (the Mayor of Kingstown),Said Jeremy Renner in one Ausso when he signed up to play in the series. “In a world otherwise forgotten in society, Mike serves as a flawed system of checks and balances.
