The bull was spotted in the middle of an intersection two months ago, Animal Control said.
Boston Animal Care and Control found a missing bull on Aug. 20 in Roslindale, the unit said in a Facebook post Tuesday, two months after it first went missing.
The animal was was first discovered in the middle of an intersection in Roslindale on June 20.
BACC said the bull escaped from its owner, who did not know that most pets are illegal to own in Boston. According to their social media, a days-long search for the animal involved officers searching the area and a thermal drone.
The post said the bull hid in thick brush until he was discovered and rescued by BACC. The unit said they made a conjured move to lure the bull into a temporary box they installed. BACC and the MSPCA Nevins Farm Equine and Farm Animal Rescue Team worked together to move the bull to a trailer, which they used to transport it to Nevins Farm in Methuen.
According to Animal Control, the MSPCA is working to find someone to adopt the bull.
