Caleb the goat ran away on Sunday after being “scared”, but was returned home and reunited with his brother Joey.
Caleb the goat has been found, Sowa Goat Sanctuary said in a Instagram roll on Wednesday.
He returned to his home in the sanctuary in Harvard, Mass., after the “most harrowing and harrowing 2 days,” Sowa said in the transcript.
Caleb went missing last Sunday after he was frightened while he and his brother Joey moved to their “new life” in Sowa, the sanctuary said.
But just two days later, the man named Derek told Sowa he saw Caleb near his house, the video caption said. Sowa volunteers rushed to Derek’s property nearby, where the video shows Caleb hiding between Derek’s tractor and a car.
The Reel shows volunteers securing Caleb with a harness, leading him to one of their transport trucks and taking him safely to Sowa. Brothers Joey and Caleb were reunited in the sanctuary, with a video showing the two brothers as they face each other for their reunion.
Caleb is “shaken, but completely unharmed physically,” as he adjusts to life in Sowa, the video caption said.
“We see both the worst and the best of humanity in the sanctuary world and have truly seen the best come out during this crisis,” the Reel caption said.
