Fun control
What’s more alpha male than driving around in a big red-blooded Cybertruck? To shoot one of course.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, a guy in a tank top and shorts — allegedly porn star Dante Colle — stares down a Cybertruck parked in the middle of a field, raises his gun and fires, jamming one through the vehicle’s stainless steel ass.
Based on the man’s dramatic reaction, the huge bullet hole in his ride is not what he expected his little experiment to be.
“Fuck!” he shouts. Then he drops his firearm to the ground and buries his head in his hands.
The hysterical cameraman explains it to us. “I don’t think it’s bulletproof!”

Stupid and stupider
There’s a lot of stupid stuff going on here. Shooting a Cybertruck, for one.
Shooting it while he was barely a dozen meters away – which in all likelihood means he actually was tour- that the round went through, because otherwise he could have been in the way of a dangerous ricochet.
And of course, there’s the big no-no about throwing a gun on the ground, seemingly without engaging the safety.
It’s kind of a miracle that the only thing that could be damaged by this was the not-so-impenetrable Cybertruck – and probably the owner’s wallet.
Foolproof
Elon Musk has long claimed that the Cybertruck can protect against gunfire – ever since the vehicle was first unveiled nearly five years ago, when he notoriously crushed one of its “bulletproof” windows. Ahead of the pickup’s launch in November 2023, Tesla doubled on bulletproof messages.
But, like many of his other claims about the unorthodox vehicle – such as its ability double as a boat — It has turned out to be more than a little doubtful.
Of course, common sense hasn’t stopped Cybertruck owners from put these claims to the test. (Do stupid stuff is apparently a rite of passage for owners of the brutal pickup.)
Add that to all the other stories about the Cybertruck questionable reliabilityand this is just another drama-laden dent in his image as a “Apocalypse proof“vehicle.
